This was a cruise that was planned before COVID and finally when things settled down I was able to take my cruise and airline credits and book on the Discovery Princess. This was not the initial ship or destination of my original cruise (I don't think the Discovery was even around then), but since I was starting from scratch it did allow me to pick something completely different and boy am I glad that I picked the Discovery.

This ship is BEAUTIFUL. You can see the pictures elsewhere but the style is right up my alley. Not gawdy and just very, very elegant.

For a larger ship it didn't feel cramped at all with all the people. I don't think the ship was at full capacity (early december cruise - so no kids), but in general I never had to squeeze around people everwhere I went. The elevators were never crowded, and the buffet, even when crowded, was still easy to get around.

Cabin Review

I was on the 11 floor (don't remember exact category), but it was a full size balcony. Everything brand new. No issues at all.
