Food was good (sometimes great) though the Compass Rose is a bit large so we often ate in the smaller restaurants including the Italian (Seti Mare). You can often do walk-ins at the 'posh' restaurants. If late back from a trip they kept the lunch open after 2pm.

We had 4 days of bad weather, a bit of a downer, which also meant missing a port and having 4 days at sea with little extra entertainment and no outside venturing. Trivia was good. Table tennis (which we like) was inconveniently placed in the wind. The evening entertainment was not that good apart from the extrovert saxophonist.

The excursions are too protective - you don't see the real Africa . All too sanitised. Guides mixed and coaches often not so great and/or crowded.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Suite

"Basic' veranda cabin - very good with everything in it and reasonable walk in wardrobe. Good shower, wi-fi a bit slow of course and good cabin lads.
