We choose this cruise because it was a new ship and we had several friends sailing as well. The ship being new was very well maintained and clean. The islands were the typical eastern Caribbean stops, Turks and Caicos, St Thomas, and San Juan. Turk and Caicos gets old fast not much there for us, great weather though, St Thomas, we did the island tour with friends that have never been before. Boring if you did it before. I would recommend the cable car instead. San Juan was fun. We walked up to the castle and walked around it then walked back down to the ship by going through the streets and alleys. Found some new shops to look at and had some really good sandwiches and beer. The weather was wonderful.

The ship itself was nice well laid out, and I liked the no smoking side of the casino, since you have to go through the casino to the theater. The cabins are smaller than the older Carnival ships and the bathrooms are miniature sized, I could barely turn around and I weigh only 165 pounds. Not comfortable at all.

The food in the main dining room was good on most nights, a couple of nights not so good, but no real complaints. The buffet was edible and that's all, they would only open half the stations at mealtime so it could be very crowded. Blue Iguana, Street Eats, Shaqs big chicken, Guy burgers, and Guy barbeque were excellent, and we ate there quite often.
