I seen all the advertisements on this ship and assumed it was a teenager friendly ship. I am a novice cruiser, only cruised 1 time before and that was Carnival not Norwegian. When I seen the go cart track and slides, I just new this was be awesome for kids. I was quickly let down when I discovered there was a charge for the go carts and gaming room. Maybe I should have expected this but like I said, I'm still new. The charges would have been more acceptable if there was more to do for kids. My 9 year old daughter was only tall enough to ride one of the three slides. By the end of the cruise I seen people literally scooting themselves down the slides because they were not slick enough to go down. It was a joke. There was zero pools kids friendly. The lifeguard constantly blew the whistle around the biggest pool on the top deck. The small infinity pools were beautiful but adults don't want to be splashed. They closed the "stadium" by 10pm each night. Moving on.... The buffet dining way constantly crowded and no where to sit. All shows overcrowded. Theater too small and not enough shows, comedy room way too small. Syd Normans way too small. Entertainment staff boring.
Positives: ship is beautiful, 8th deck (ocean boulevard) is beautiful!, Food was delicious, cabin was great, good shows.
My final point,
No problems with cabin. Completely happy
Beautiful port, beautiful water, great food, small shopping.
