We have never been to Israel and thought this would be a great opportunity. The cruise exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately there was a norovirus outbreak (limited). Viking handled this extremely well and I believe there were never more than 6 people quarantined at any time, however we never experienced 48 hours of no new cases so we never got to enjoy the pool or spa.

Entertainment was far better than we expected, the cruise director and assistant cruise director were extremely talented.

Enrichment lectures were fantastic with three historians and one world issues lecturers on board. We took Viking tours some paid and some included and thought they were pretty good. I feel there should be more included tours as they were pretty limited.
