This was my first time on a river cruise and I can’t wait to do it again. We had a veranda cabin and were very happy with the accommodations. It was on the small side, but lots of storage. The beds were comfortable and the bath was very nicely done and had a heated floor. The food was delicious and included lots of regional specialities. Wine and soft drinks were included with meals , and specialty coffees, teas, etc were available around the clock. The captain and all the staff and crew couldn’t have been nicer. The excursions were great - both entertaining and educational. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. I thought I would miss the casino and spa you find on ocean cruises, but I really didn’t. We found river cruising to be much more relaxing than Ocean cruising and are looking forward to doing it again in the near future.
