This was a bucket list cruise to visit the Christmas Markets along the Danube. Our tour guides at each of our stops were lots of fun and very knowledgeable of the history of the area. Our extra excursions were well thought out and enhanced those that were included. The food onboard the ship was delicious and gave us a cultural experience. The half meter brats at booths in the Christmas markets were fabulous! The ship was nicely decorated for the Holidays. It was kept clean even when we were all tracking snow on board. We had 183 folks on board. Just the right size to meet new friends and so that the crew could get to know us. We were able to interact with the captain as well. Our servers were wonderful. It was nice to get to know them. They all loved their jobs and it showed. The cooking demonstrations were fun and it was nice to get the recipes to bring home. There were always ways to get dietary requirements met whether food allergies, gluten free, etc. The crew bent over backwards to meet everyone’s needs.
