We are repeat customers with Viking and once again we were not disappointed. The ship and room were clean, the crew friendly and professional and the scheduled ports kept you busy. The food service was excellent, and the quality was outstanding. Each afternoon Viking conducted a "Port Talk", prior to dinner, to discuss the city we were stopping at the next day. They would explain the history of the city, our excursions (both planned and optional) and gave you exact details of where and when to meet. All I had to concern myself with was showing up with my camera. The excursions were done on a professional level, conducted by knowledgeable local guides who gave you valuable insights. The coach was luxurious and when we walked around the city the pace allowed you to see and enjoy. The quality we have found that separates Viking from everyone else is their ability to make your vacation about you. The service staff learns your name, they think of what you need before you do, and they are always asking how they can assist you. We were sold on Viking during our first trip with them on the Danube. On my own, prior to the trip, I had purchased tickets for the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Austria. This city was on our itinerary and it was a dream of my wife to visit this world-famous school. The morning we were to disembark at Vienna we were informed by the captain we would be delayed in arriving at Vienna due to the extra time it took to get through the locks the night before. The time they expected us to arrive would have been past the starting time of the show we had tickets for. I asked the service desk if there was any chance, we could make up time. They took my information and a few minutes later informed me they were going to pull over at a dock in the middle of nowhere where a taxi will be waiting to take us to our show. We made it to the show and Viking has been our choice ever since.

Cabin Review

French Balcony

Room was comfortable but I went on a cruise to participate, so my only concern about the room was a bed, shower and a place to change.
