Lovely ship ! Getting on in Rome was simple . Getting off in Portugal was also quick . Food was great in the main dining rooms, so so at Buffetts, Osheehans not as good on this ship. hotdogs and hamburgers were not edible. All housekeeping dining , guest services staff wonderful and friendly! all except the dreaded shore excursion team! in particular the assistant manager! how on earth is it possible to have a job where you can verbally abuse your paying customers on a regular basis? we watched in horror as this woman treated the handicapped guests waiting to get on excursions like garbage. she belittled berated and even lied about her treatment of these paying guests , myself included. Verbally abusing whoever she felt like it. Norwegian cruise line should remove her from all of their ships and she should never be able to sail on any cruise ship in my opinion. Cruise tours were great we had many cancellations , many changes everything you think that could happen did with short excursions . I was promised some type of reimbursement for the troubles that I had in Florence / Florence on your own tour . I spoke to the general manager and received nothing! My foot in toe It’s still black and bruised .still waiting to hear back from Norwegian about that. I would hate to think how they would handle things at full capacity ?we were only at half. The epic Beatles show was fantastic was well worth the wait! Young entertainers on the show were fantastic with Priscilla Queen of the desert and burn the floor dance show! I would consider cruising on the ship again probably not to the Mediterranean. I believe carnival does this and shore excursions better . I prefer TheNorwegian Dawn as well. solo studio was very nice , except for the bizarre shower everyone has talked about . I loved the lounge area and a solo passengers as well. however this is not suitable for guests with handicapped traveling with a rolling walker or scooter hallways or too narrow to pass when housekeeping team is cleaning. Manager in the taste dining room was a sweetheart.
