we chose this cruise as we love cruising the caribbean out of barbados. this turned out to be rubbish in the 14 days we visited 4 islands TWICE the standard of food was rubbish unless you like over spiced / herbs and ITALIAN based food. so called English choices, under cooked even if you asked for well done. For English style food i do not think Beefburgers AND Hot Dogs fit the bill. The so called Sheperds Pie was dry and tasted blike sawdust, it should always have gravy already in the pie and not seperate. However the staff in dining rooms were superb the cabin stewardess was very good, it is just the so called customer service. They advertise the Zip line experience BUT they do not tell you you have to pay EXTRA to use it. their Excursions are some of the most expensive we have ever come across. Our Embarkation was terrible I am disabled and when we got to the dockside there were no wheelchairs available for 6 disabled people they eventually found some and we were the VERY last people to get Embarked the staff onshore doing the booking in were trying to pack up but with us sat there waiting they could not. Then we got to the cabin and just sat there until my equipment was delivered we were supposed to have a cabin with disabled facilities but the shower/toilet was not suitable going to customer services we were told we had not booked a disabled cabin. on returning to this cabin we found a letter from their onboard disability assistance team stating we had so we went back and we were eventually moved to a much better cabin on deck 14 hich had superb disabled facilities We could have done without the stress at the start of our holiday. We will never suffer MSC again!
