As a Carnival cruiser since 2010, the cutbacks are really starting to show. No bacon at guys burgers, non existent drink service around the pool and other areas, and lack of entertainment. If you notice, 80% of the entertainment does not cost them anything…I love the comedy shows but think of how much money they save by paying 1-2 people.

Anyway, I had cabin 2211. 2 portholes, 1 twin bed with a sofa. Noisy, and lots of movement for a lower deck cabin. Room steward was good.

Main annoyances: can’t get 2 bottles of water at the same time with the drink package. It’s water, not alcohol. Also, on this cruise, the pizza place servers are literally hiding in the back and I was told by others that you have to shout for him.
