I have always enjoyed carnival as the crew always made it a great experience. I supported carnival and went on two 7-day cruises during Covid. I convinced 8 family members to book this cruise and I was absolutely embarrassed. Checkin went fine but the ship departed after 5pm with no reason given. Not the biggest issue.

Overall Staff Service: 2 stars. All of the staff seemed over worked and had a hard time faking the smiles. From room staff to casino staff, I have never experienced such bland and often rude service. Room guy barely touched our room, even when asked to clean better. Made the bed and replaced towels, that was about it.

Island stops: 1 star. They completely messed up the shuttle service on grand cayman. The line to get tickets the morning of got completely messed up as no staff were around to direct people. When staff showed up they moved the line and all chaos began as people cut in line and people started fighting. Hundreds of people ready to brawl at any given moment. Security did nothing but walk around and watch. Unprofessional on so many levels. Jamaica was ok because they have a dedicate port. The worst thing is they cut stops at both locations by an hour or more without giving any reason. So both stops were rushed just to get activities done before having to get back to the ship. They can almost cruise back to Miami in one day from these locations so it made no sense why they rushed it.

Mediocre room that seemed very dated to the 2000’s
