This was our first Alaskan Cruise and our first cruise with Princess cruise line. We previously sailed with Disney, which we thought we not be comparable to Princess. We were surprised that this cruise was well above our expectations for this ship. EMBARKATION: Embarkation went very smooth and quick. We had no problems.

PUBLIC ROOMS: Overall, the hangouts on the ship were big, and easy to commute in. On a couple of occasions however, we felt a bit claustrophobic with the large amount of people and the disorganization due to how the rooms were designed. The pools were very nice, although it was very hard to ever swim inside because of the popularity of this pool. The kids preferred to swim in the aft pools, which gave a great view but were located outside in the cold.

CABINS:We had an Inside Stateroom. It was very small compared to our other Inside staterooms with Disney. The kids shared one Inside stateroom while my wife and I shared one next door. Our steward was nice. The kids often left the room with clutter and clothes everywhere. The steward always left the room very clean and even put away some of their laundry. He was always available to adjust anything in the cabin to fulfill our needs.
