We chose Viking as our first ocean cruise after Covid because 1.) their Health & Safety Program, provides the best protection to avoid transmission of covid, 2.) Ease of Embarkation/Disembarkation, Historian, and Cultural Programs, and 3.) Dining & Entertainment. Onboard, physical distancing & optional facemask are recommended. All employees, wear masks and surfaces on the ship are cleaned and sanitized continuously with daily scheduled deep cleaning. More hand sanitization stations are added throughout your ship, adding comfort to each passenger's safety. I also like the independent air purified units that keep airborne viruses in your room and areas on the ship out. Cultural and Historian programs are a delight and add another dimension to sailing. The SPA & Fitness, and Specialty Dining Restaurants are included with no additional charge. And best of all, Viking makes it personal, service is the best, they know your name when arriving at the restaurant or in the hallway to your room, even on a ship with 800 plus passengers. The ship has many little areas that resemble mini-living rooms to relax or to spend time with friends. There are no long lines to wait in. The entertainment is delightful. Needless to say, we really enjoyed our cruise.

Cabin Review

Well laid out and well lit. Good storage, refrigerator restocked each day.
