Viking continues to set the standard for river cruises. We were anxious for a return trip to Paris and our first visit to Normandy. The trip to the Normandy beach and cemetery along with the late night tour of the lights of Paris were our favorite excursions.

We added the pre-voyage three days in Paris and discovered the local Paris scene that we had not experienced before. The included walking tour was an education in itself.

As in our past Viking journey, we met new friends…some of whom we will cruise with again. The small size of the ship and number of guests allowed us to get to know well people who were total strangers only a week earlier. Read more
