We chose this trip as a replacement for a Viking river trip through Russia that was cancelled. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the facilities and the amazing service. The variety and quality of the food was outstanding. The excursions were very educational and interesting. We met some friends who we hope will become lifetime friends. All-in-all we were well satisfied with our trip choice. The highlight of the trip was the venture into the canal itself. The operation of the canal was fascinating. But the other stops in Belize, Honduras, Cozumel, Costa Rica, Jamaica, and so forth were also interesting. On the sea days, we participated in trivia competitions every day and we enjoyed many if the shows that the group of singers put on. Although not well known, there was no lack of talent. I was very impressed at how the staff and crew went out of there way to make you feel welcome and at home. Overall it was a great trip.
