We chose Viking because of the smaller ship. We also booked this Cruise because we wanted to see the Christmas markets in Germany . They were outstanding as were the markets in Bassel Switzerland I have never seen such fresh produce before. The crew on the ship was outstanding so friendly and helpful. The dining room staff was very informative. The dining experience was way beyond our expectations , the chef and wait staff were outstanding . The Excursion director always had suggestions and helpful hints they went beyond our expectations. We extended for 2 days before and after and the excursions there were outstanding I would recommend Viking to anyone. We will be sailing with Viking again hopefully in the near future their prices are very competitive but their service and staff is the most outstanding of any cruise ship we have been on. The camaraderie and friendships that we made on the ship will be a memory we will never forget

Cabin Review

French Balcony Superior

The cabin view was spectacular, the room was always clean. The hallways were clean and the beds were very comfortable

Port Reviews

Basel

We had never been to Switzerland before so took this opportunity to look at some of the architect and taste some of the local food

Amsterdam

I had never been to Amsterdam before so we extended so we could enjoy a few more days of vacation before we went home. The bus trip that we took to see the windmills was outstanding our bus driver played the piano and entertained us all day long
