We chose this cruise, mostly on a whim. We had heard great reviews from a couple we know who had taken it during the summer. We felt it would be a good first experience given the breadth of travel and countries - and we were NOT disappointed! Overall, the ship, the staff, and the destinations were top notch and we wanted for nothing. The food, the activities, and tours were amazing. Our room was so nice, from the bathroom to the balcony. The staff kindly filled our minibar, substituting gingerale for diet coke - and they were so attentive to our desires continually (although we tried to not be high maintenance, because, as I said, you want for nothing with Viking!). The spas, pools, and rest areas were so incredibly relaxing. We cannot wait to do it all again, we just need to figure out which cruise to try next!
