I chose this cruise for the itinerary and was worried about the ship as it just came back in service. There are only about a 1000 passengers for a ship.that holds 2700. My first impression was Blah and after 10 days my impression hasn’t changed. The cabins are comfortable, with soft comfortable beds. The shower is small. The room steward excellent. The entertainment is poor, but princess ships always has bad entertainment. There is only one show at 9 pm. The food in the buffet is repetitive, and the fruit is not ripe ever. They get the omelette order wrong most days as if they don’t have something they substitute whatever. The food in the dining rooms is really good, but the description never matched the description so you take you chances. So far my one shore excursion was horrible and I am trying to get my money back.
The good so far is the cabins, the food in the dining room, the internet is fast, the cruise director and team are great. Bad are the shore excursions thru Princess as they take no responsibility for quality, the repetitive food in the buffet, the lack of oomph on the part of staff in general as the more seasoned complaints about training the newbies gets annoying, but the trainees are pleasant. The itinerary is good but they canceled Nicaragua. Note the pools are not heated so no one can use them . This has been the greatest disappointment but no one at Princess cares as this is the same on all Princess ships I have been on.
Comfortable, clean reasonable in size. Love the bed hate the small shower.
The town is 2.5 miles to crucecita each way. Everything is expensive and no one barters. I saw a rat walking into town. The beach by the ship was dirty .
Small town, vey walkable off the ship. Great prices. No beach that is close by, you have to take a taxi
Ok, but you have to take a tour as the port doesn’t have much. The coffee plantation and searching tour went too long and no food available to buy. Would not recommend this tour
