We really like Celebrity and wanted to try the new ship, Beyond. A few disappointments. First and foremost - we had horrible cabin noises. Not sporadically but constantly while underway. I reported it to Guest Relations and they seemed to be totally aware of what I was talking about. It needs to be eliminated or the cabins with that issue need to be taken out of operation. The ship is nicely decorated and I especially love the live plants everywhere. There is no library which is strange and not a good change. We really did not like the "balcony". It is not a balcony. We will not sail on Beyond in the future because of that. There are many subtle changes that you'd only know if you've sailed previously. For example, no welcome aboard champagne. Not that big a deal but it was a nice touch. Personal items (cotton balls, q-tips, etc) no longer in the bathroom. No outlet for the hair dryer other than in the bathroom. Robes were not in the cabin but provided when asked. The bathrooms were bigger and that was nice. The Spa was not at all user friendly. It looked like it was unfinished - no hooks for towels in shower, no hair dryers etc.

We travel with 8 - 10 friends. We had 8 this time. We ate at the Tuscan 6 out of 7 nights because the waitstaff we had were absolutely fabulous. We had a great time with them: Adruba (waiter), Diego (assistant waiter), Steven (sommelier) and Ria our hostess. The food was really good, too. We thought the food at the Oceanview was really good also.
