Best bucket trip, EVER! If you are going to invest in the money, invest in the time and do it right! There were 4 landings in the Falklands then docked at Stanley for the day. Took a day trip to Volunteer Point. Then 5 days in South Georgia where there are massive amounts of wildlife, old whaling stations and Shackleton’s grave. Then on to the icing of Antarctica. At times Caribbean like deep blue water with equally beautiful icebergs, massive glaciers, numerous penguins. The ship was clean with very friendly staff, highly educated and experienced expedition team. Safety was utmost important. The food was Norwegian gourmet and dinner was beautifully presented after being hand-plated by the head chef. There were always educational activities and lectures daily with art classes mixed in. There is a gift shop with high end expedition gear. Gym and sauna and hot tubs for use. Mandarin Oriental hotel stay the night before. Don’t have to do much because everything is taken care of and arranged for you.

Cabin Review

Excellent! Huge window. Shampoo, conditioner, hand wash and moisturizer in the bathroom. TV with enough channels. Nice bench for storage with a safe. Lots of cabinets and shelves for clothes, and tray for muck boots. There was a nice ottoman and HEAVY wool blankets to use!
