Me and my friends rented a suite for 3 nights with MSC in Doha for the world cup.

We all have been to cruises multiple times with Celebrity Cruises and Royal Caribbean just to let you know we understand what we should expect. MSC advertised as a cruise like experience bit we are not sailing. So we thought it is very good idea to a luxury relaxing experience for our last three days. We booked a suite for 3 days around 4500 Euro. We were surprised that nothing is included in this booking except the stateroom and breakfast which can be said that it was fairly basic nothing special about it. You may find better breakfast in 3 stats hotels. The main dining is a joke we had to pay of course 60 Euro for the most basic tasteless food in my life. Very poor service as well the desert was cafeteria level it was disgusting. The crew is not organized the ship is not getting cleaned always. Nothing was pleasant in everything we did.

There is another disaster with the checkout process. During Check in they said if I would like to donate 1 Euro for MSC Foundation. So I put no. And when I checked out it still charged me the 1 Euro. I know i am making a big deal it is only 1 dollar but this did not happen to me all the guests who declined the donation initially was charged anyway. The other story that they charged many guests 50 Euro after checkout dedicating from Credit card claiming that they checked out after 11 am which was not correct we left the room before 11 as per many guests with us until we challenged them to check the CCTV. Only then they agreed to reverse the charge. Thank hod we saw the charge before we left the ship otherwise we would have not been able to get the refund. Read more
