The crew, including restaurants, bars, people who cleaned our suite, all were extremely friendly and efficient. We loved them! They went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. The bartenders in the casino immediately learned our drink preferences and made us drinks as soon as they saw us.
The wait staff and sommelier in Luminae were amazing, too. They were attentive and helpful. My husband and I are happy jokesters, and the restaurant got into the spirit of things with us.
That said, the restaurant was understaffed. Also, while the food was good quality and beautifully presented, many times it wasn’t good. Some of the combinations were horrible. I mean…a white chocolate cauliflower mouse is not appetizing. One night we had lobster salad. There were tiny slivers of almost raw lobster in some strange sauce.

I gave this low rating because the excursion was horrible! We had a train ride that was supposed to take us through wonderful scenery. We spent about two hours on an extremely rough train ride through tall sugar cane. We couldn’t even see anything except sugar cane for most of the ride. The ride was so rough, one person on the train got sick.
The excursion advertised free drinks. We were offered one drink. Just wasn’t a pleasant experience.
