We have sailed Celebrity before and we do like the line. We sailed Princess, Holland of America and Norvegian, but we always return to Celebrity. We always wanted to do a transatlantic and the time was perfect coming from a few days in Barcelona. We stayed at the casa del mar near the port and this was very nice the owners are wonderful. Embarkation was smooth we booked a suite it was our first time at the retreat and we will never go backThe room was great with a large balcony , the retreat was very nice and the restaurant was great. We just wished the menu was more varied it was different every night but the choice was a bit limited. Being a vegetarian it was a bit of a challenge even though they had vegetarian entrees but it would have been nice to have more choices The staff was very nice and attentive. A bit chaotic on the first night but then it was ok. We had to visit the Health facility, we were very impressed the staff was wonderful caring and they listened to your needs. The doctor was fantastic .

We still miss the old martini bar and we heard they might have the ice bar coming on their new ships. The music was fine but it would be nice to have a piano bar.

The retreat outside was good, they have a bar where you can order lunch, very limited and when we ask for a vegetarian burger it took a long time. Read more
