Just ok.  Didn't have heated floors in the bathroom like Viking.  Apparently, not 100% fresh air supply.

we had a great private city tour from a local tour company (guide was the owner).  m and m tours.

we didn't make our tour because SilverSea changed our docking time and booked tours, so we did our own look around.  seemed like a cool little town.

Sitka

we took the narrow gauge and then looked around town on our own, time being limited because we ported at an alternative location and ferried up to town and spend a lot of the day on the ship instead of touring,

Skagway

very nice city but you have to overlook the homeless and dopeheads.

Vancouver

So, first day on the boat, we asked our butler for a bottle of cabernet sauvignon to be brought to our room that night, and it was stated that it would arrive as requested, but it came the next day, a there was an ‘excuse’ something about getting booze from the bar on the first day of the cruise (because we departed Seward late ?It seems that the bigger the cruise boat, the closer to the main town they get to dock, so I think in hindsight it is better to get on the biggest boat.
