This cruise was to replace a cruise last December when my friend got covid the 2nd day and we were put off the ship 2 days later in Chile for 7 days of quarantine in a seedy hotel and then flown home. No covid for us this time, but because some passengers tested positive we were not able to stop in Casablanca. Too many people did not wear masks in elevators and on busses. The food was a bit disappointing, as the gnocchi was not potato, and other dishes were just not up to par. Viking Air screwed up our outgoing flights, so my business class seat was changed to economy, and Viking took no responsibility. After waiting an hour and a half to disembark at 10:30 am in Buenos Aries, we were taken on a 4 hour bus and river tour (no option to not take it, and people were coughing and hacking on the bus, no masks). We were then taken to a Hilton hotel to wait 7 hours for our transportation to the airport in a "hospitality room." We were offered pastries, apples, coffee and juices. Really felt this was below Vikings standards. Don't think I'll be cruising with them again.
