We are not new to Viking. When we found this itinerary(Ft. Lauderdale to Panama City) and the fact that the next cruise was the same, in reverse, we immediately booked this back-to-back itinerary. Given that we were on this spectacular ship for twenty-one days, we had the chance to fully appreciate all aspects of our ship. By the way the ship was carrying about 750 passengers out of the 930 capacity.
I could write volumes about the crew. They could not do enough for us.
-Hilda and Widi were our cabin attendants. Always wanting to help. Always with a smile(behind the masks).
We have been in this category before, it is perfect for my wife and I. While we have some mobility issues, this cabin has all the necessary room to move around. Also, since this was home for twenty-one days we had plenty of storage space.
The bathroom is great, I could build a home round its' design. Heated floor, towel rack and mirror(it won't fog up) over a double sink with plenty of storage. The shower is roomy and has really nice fixtures, also Viking supplied a chair to help with mobility issues. Space, storage and serenity what else do you need.
This cabin is about a dozen steps from the Explorers Lounge where you just sit watch the world go by, have a nice quiet place to read a book or have a Norwegian breakfast.
