We have been on over 100 cruises and presently a Captain's Club Elite Plus prior to this sailing. This is our first Celebrity return since the pandemic and were on RCCL Allure of the Seas in August 2022. We choose this sailing because neighbors would be going and there were good deals.
In the past we have selected Concierge Class cabins and on our last sailing in 2019 on the Millennium we noted problems with what Celebrity marketed and reality on the ship. We thought Celebrity would have corrected those problems but clearly not! Marketing and what they list on a card in the cabin of amenities are very different -- reality does not match the paper. We are in a Concierge class cabin - 9307 and all surrounding cabins are also Concierge Class.
We have reached out to a Captain's Club/Concierge reps regarding a number of issues. These began with the realization that listed amenities, services, and features did not exist -- see attached photo of cabin card. We have since been told that the ship does not and never has had Hansgrohe massaging showerhead, and does not have "plush" bathrobes or towels - see photo of robe - but there are plush towels for Suite guests.
The cabin is a cabin but the storage - drawers and shelves - are extremely limited. There are no shelves in the closet and only 3 drawers. There is a storage area above the bed but this is person height use limited. Bathroom amenities are limited and also do not match that listed in advertising. The bath towels say 100% cotton but "plush" they are not.
