We love the Equinox and she didn't disappoint! While Celebrity shore-side service leaves a LOT to be desired, their sea-side service is still top shelf! Captain Theo is a very professional and personable leader who we saw mingling with his guests nearly every day of our 9-night voyage. He always wears a broad and genuine smile and is happy to interact with everyone all while running a tight operation. I saw his crew (literally constantly) cleaning this ship down to the smallest detail.

Food and service in the main dining room was absolutely on point with Tenci, Nelson, and sommelier Vineeth standing out for their professionalism and excellence. While the food was consistently great, the only area for improvement we saw was their dessert presentation. Items that should have been served warm were not. That was not the case in the specialty restaurants. All aspects of their food and service were simply outstanding! Aldo, Jenny, and Leilo in Tuscan Grill as well as Ali and his team in Murano were spectacular in every aspect! Both venues are well worth the investment! We experienced wonderful bar service throughout the ship notably from Tereza and Nazim in the Passport Bar and by Airyn at the pool bar.

Our cabin was 7108, or a family veranda, which was spacious and comfortable and very well managed by our steward, Menino. He checked in with us several times each day and just did a fantastic job keeping our room up for us. This is a forward/starboard facing cabin which we really liked. The only downside to it was we experienced quite a bit of ship noise when the ship was docking. We are early risers so it didn't really bother us too much but, if you're not an early bird, I would opt for a different cabin. Also, there is no television in the bedroom portion.
