We are long time NCL clients. We upgraded to the Haven for the experience on the Prima, not our first Haven experience.
Corporate did not handle the upgrade well, let us flounder with the concierge for the first 4 days of the cruise trying to get our beverage package and other prepaid amenities straightened out. Ultimately they figured out that we did have the Premium + beverage package but could not adjust the charges that we prepaid for the priority boarding which was unnecessary because we were Haven clients. Then they could not tell us how much the upgrade actually cost us, we were charged 1100 AND 1400. Two months home and we are still trying to get answers, we have now disputed the credit card charges because there has been NO response from them.
The ship itself was terrible it was not planned for the kinds of gatherings known to be so pleasant on all of the other ships, the atrium itself is miniscule and there is no real dance floor. Great entertainment, no place to dance or sit. Bingo held in one of the clubs where you get to sit behind poles.
I am not sure of the cabin category but it was a Haven with large balcony in the aft part of the ship. Cabin was attractive but not functional for rough seas or cleaning. The newness of the ship and the fact that we met inclement weather requiring us to be inside for much of the sailing made for respiratory issues, I do not believe the ventilation or air filtration system is adequate. Due to the types of drains in sinks and shower I question their ability to prevent mold or other debris from accumulating.
