This was our 6th cruise and our least favorite experience. The ship had some design flaws, i.e. the Liquid Lounge has horrible seating the rows are not elevated enough to see over people, the aisles are to narrow to walk, the ground floor is just common dining chairs with NO elevation at all. Plus the actual entertainment was underwhelming. Most singers were so off-key it was painful to listen to. The budget was less because very few costume changes or backdrops used. No magic show which disappointed me because that is always a hit with kids.

The food was disappointing, i.e. the lava cake that you are known for was always very wet and raw tasting, the Thanksgiving dinner was horrible, the turkey was basically lunch meat. Breakfasts at Lido were repetitive and lacking flavor. There are not enough pools and they are 6ft deep which is to much for my small children.

Finally, communication from the captain and cruise director upset me. The first two days the entire ship was rocking so bad we all were on dramamine. It was scary and worrisome that the entire trip would be rough, so a little reassurance that the weather would clear up would have been appreciated. Even pilots will talk you through turbulence and calm you down. All in all we won't sail Vista again.
