Sail Date: Nov 2022
Cabin: Sky Suite 1

I miss having less people, but those days are over. We boarded in a rainstorm and felt like drowned rats by the time we walked on board. The Retreat area at the pier was nice with refreshments and small bites. We boarded within 15 minutes of arriving (around 11:15 am). Several people complained their clothes were wet in their suitcases but that's a pier issue not Celebrity's fault. We were supposed to sail away at 4:30 and ended up staying until 11p due to the weather. I later read there were 7 ships leaving that day and only 2 left before 10pm.

We dined in Luminae and the staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. We went to Murano's 1 night and I must say it should not be missed. I went alone to Tuscan and was disappointed. It was not up to par with Luminae and definitely not worth the up charge. Michael's lounge was a great way to grab a fast water or soda and the bar service was quick and friendly. Cranston is always singing! He even scrounged up sandwiches for us one day well past tea time so we didn't have to fight the crowd in Ocean View.

In Nassau we did a ship excursion to Blue Lagoon Island. It was a bit overcast and then down poured later in the day sending everyone running to the pavilion. It took us almost an hour to board the bus to the tender and then we stood around for over an hour once we arrived. We arrived there 2 hours late due to the storm the previous night and the entire crew of Blue Lagoon Island were unorganized and very confused. Boarding the shuttle boat was a hassle and the island had a lot of kid activities so I wouldn't do it again.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 1

Corner aft suite was amazing! Plenty of room and storage. The balcony chairs reclined and had foot stools - plenty of room out there. We also had a large port window so the cabin was very sunny but the drapes kept it out when we wanted it dark. There was NO noise back there due to the small hallway outside our cabin and the one next door. The TV options weren't that great but we managed to watch a few movies over the course of the week. There were only 2 outlets by the TV though, none near the bed and 1 more in the bathroom. If you need more outlets then bring a cruise approved supplemental outlet.
