Traveled with children

First I have sailed with every cruise line and I'm 49 with kids. This was my third voyage with Princess. Lets start with the positives. Food was great and we had the drink pages so we enjoyed some drinks from the bar which were good. By the way there is a secret bar menu on the 5th floor bar. The rooms were nice. Had an interior for kids and balcony for 2 adults and a 3 yr.

The bad: Wash your hands, wash your hands. They had NO hygiene control and kids on this ship got food poising. In my 20 cruises this was my first time to experience this. Had to go see a doctor and get shots at one of the ports. They had to do medical evacuation in Los Cabos - not sure if it was related. The staff and yourself have to be vigilant about diseases. The new world we live in.

Main issues: Entertainment was poor quality for a new ship, Room service took too long, the ship and elevators felt small and claustrophobic. Main dining was small and nothing exciting to write about. Staff would never ask you if you needed drinks in buffet area. You would always have to hunt someone down. This is a new ship - they should have the best staff on board.
