My husband had never been to Hawaii so we chose this cruise. His biggest complaint on this ship is that the casino had not poker table.
It mostly met our expectations. The food was good, but not outstanding. The service in our dining room was excellent. It was sometimes slow at breakfast. The size of the buffet was small so therefore there was very little variety.
The crowd was mostly older. There were very few children, which was fine with us. It probable was so because of the time of year. We felt the cruise was good value at the price we paid. There were always activities going on. There was a Hawaiian couple on board who gave hula and ukelele lessons, as well as providing entertainment in the Plaza.
Were were in #E209 which was an obstructed oceanview.
The cabin was quite small, but had adequate storage. The bathroom and shower were very small. My biggest complaint was the blow dryer. I have been on other Princess cruises and do not remember this type of blow dryer. It was just an instrument than blew air. You could not style with it. There are no outlets in the cabin so you cannot bring your own blow dryer.
