This was our 20th anniversary cruise, and we did back-to-back 7 day cruises (western/eastern Caribbean).

We are 3-star Mariners on HAL, and this was our 3rd trip since Covid hit. Compared to the last two post-covid trips, this was a good improvement. We started getting towel animals again (a simple add but delightful), they had some fresh flowers on board (prior two cruises they were mostly missing), and better service overall. The cruise stops were better as well -- a year ago the islands we stopped on were really suffering from the drop in tourism from Covid, and things seem to have improved.

We took 2 excursions in the 14 days, and otherwise just got off and explored on our own. Both excursions were handled well. Entertainment on the Mainstage is the one area that has dropped off and not recovered. But we enjoyed the trivia/game hosts, the Billboard Onboard, and the BB King blues club, as well as playing games up in Explorations Cafe / crows nest. Read more
