****PROS**** NO KIDS(!!!!!) therefore shows are allowed to be rated closer to R (Never Sleep Alone with sexologist Dr. Ashley was touching the risqué line but still super entertaining and funny, she is a true entertainment professional); staff tips included!!!! And we found ALL members of the staff were kind, easy-going, willing to help, and warm; LOVED that there were no buffet lines where people tend to act like the last animals on a desert island; the offerings in all restaurants or kiosks on Deck 15 (The Galley) were all quite good (favorite food was eaten at The Wake), the focus on wellness with a nice albeit small HIIT training room, expansive cardio & weight area, basketball court, and running track on uppermost level; the musical acts on board (Morf the one man band + Slam Allen Blues band were both PHENOMENAL and top notch musical acts) and we along with other mid-30s year old sailors in general loved the music playing throughout the common spaces of the ship; the VHS 80s workout is HYSTERICAL do NOT miss it(!); I found the interior design of the spaces quite beautiful and well designed; I upgraded to a Sea View Terrace and loved the balcony + hammock to hang out for naps or have a quieter moment to myself and found the cabin itself quite spacious [the bathroom of my line is configured slightly different, so felt like an airplane bathroom in layout] but the water pressure as well as the heat of the shower was A+; the crew members are all 20-somethings with high energy and very kind but it would have been nice to see older crew members also out socializing to an older 30-50s crowd with a different humor/experience in life; the sun tanning spaces were wonderful including a wrap-around red lounging area at the aft of the boat on deck 16 (or 15, can't remember now) as well as beautiful beach-club esque lounge vibes BEHIND the Wake restaurant on deck 7 (excellent grilled octopus and shrimp skewers served there also...)

****CONS**** the WI-FI on board was abysmal, which is fine because you're on vacation however YOU NEED THE VIRGIN APP to access the events and make reservations on board, so you MUST go into airplane mode and then connect to the on board Wi-Fi to even get any decent amount of access to the app; the app was SUPER buggy and in my opinion has a confusing and poorly designed user interface; the restaurant reservations were completely booked solid at any key time slots for our group of 5 literally as soon as we stepped on board, as well as all the fitness classes which have LIMITED CAPACITY; getting a restaurant reservation was a HUGE issue for our group the whole time, and I wish that there was a way to book dining before boarding the ship itself; people tend to drop out of fitness classes the more hungover they got, so I was able to pick up slots eventually being patient for fitness however I noticed that some shows required bookings and then when you got to the door they just accepted everyone... I wonder how many people missed going to a show thinking they would be turned away, but could have gone; the quality of the shows themselves with the exception of NSA and Duel Reality were just NOT impressive... I am positive that Virgin can craft better quality productions than what they did for the Unnamed Dance Party which I found to be extremely cheesy as well as Ships in the Night was just a head-scratcher of confusing... my group didn't like either show at all; I personally found the pool deck and the gym-area pool very small and think they could have designed this deck space slightly better; pool was always crowded during the day so we would either go early AM or late evening

IN SUMMARY: fantastic, fun, modern cruise to enjoy with older & open-minded family, friends or your partner(s); beautiful ship with some room for improvement in show offerings and ensuring people can access dining at their restaurants of choice!

Cabin Review

Ample and well designed interior room; my line 154A had a different bathroom layout that felt like an airplane cabin bathroom but shower pressure was excellent
