We have never been on Viking and were anxious to try them. We picked this cruise because it ended in Barcelona. First, managing the pre-cruise was a nitemare. Viking was no help and the system was terrible. They sell out shore excursions to hi-end before balcony cabins have a chance. Help for figuring out covid requirements per country was non existent. On our connection flight we landed to find out that our next flight was canceled. NO one from Viking or SAS was there to help. Getting to our ship destination was terrible. Ship was very nice, staff was the best we've experienced and good food, but ship was far too small for "ocean" cruises. It could not take medium rough seas. We were ok, but lots of people were sick. Excursions were just ok when we were able to get one. Then the trip ended with not getting into Barcelona until 1pm on last day. Worthless ! ! Then they lost our luggage going home. I should mention, we used Viking for our flights. Viking was very bad at managing and organizing the pre-cruise experience. Way to stressful. NEVER had this problem with other cruise lines. Cruise was not relaxing and fun. Always a problem somewhere. Maybe they have river cruises down, but NOT ocean.

Nice. Not the best, but nice.
