we decided to take a 7day Caribbean cruise from Fort Lauderdale on HAL. This would be our 11 cruise, and first on HAL. Previously we sailed on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Azamara. Since we didn't have a very good experience onour last Azamara, we thought we try something else....

We booked an inside cabin, (8102) which was well laid out, but small. Not sofa or love seat, just a very small 'box' chair to be used for makeup. The room at night was a bit noisy, because we were under the Ledo Deck, where the buffet is.

Food at the Ledo as plentiful but had long lines at the popular stations. The ice cream station has only one person manning it, which let to lines for 20+ people waiting. HAL should know this, and should have added another person to help out. Read more
