We initially booked this cruise in the spring, had to cancel then rebooked it 2 weeks before sailing. Saved $800. This was our 25th Wedding anniversary and we wanted to do another TA. The ports are what made this cruise, Rome, Livorno, Cannes, Barcelona, Alicante, Malaga, Cadiz, Lisbon then the Azores (lost 1 port there because of the weather).
Boarding in Rome was a breeze. From when we were dropped off outside to being on the ship in maybe 20 minutes. We won an upgrade to a Club Balcony Suite 11204 in the middle of the ship. One of the biggest bathrooms on a ship I have seen with a walk-in shower that 5 could be in. Nice cabin on the port side.
We ate 5 times in the specialty restaurants, twice eating outside on the boardwalk. The other times dinner in the Manhattan with evening entertainment. Breakfast we ate in the buffet not our usual choice but the muffin girls and the coffee team are worth the visit.
Great Club Balcony 11204 in the middle of the ship. Very large bathroom, double sink and a large walk-in shower.
