My wife and I are boomers, Diamond, and one of us had a smartphone. This was the Wonder's first cruise out of Port Canaveral. The traffic outside the port was terrible. We arrived at noon and didn't actually make it to the terminal until 1:30. Once in, everything flowed smoothly. I heard the delay was due to the mandatory Coast Guard inspection for ocean crossing ships. Everything was normal and flowing smoothly when we disembarked.
• Cabin 6250 is outside Veranda on the back of a bump-out. It was a Guarantee cabin & very quiet.
• There were plenty of outlets: The mirror/desk had 3x120, 2x240 and 2xUSB. In addition, each bedside lamp had one 120 and one USB.
• The bathroom door has a magnetic closure, which is quite loud when it slams shut, and quite hard to open easily. To improve the situation, we threw the deadbolt and let the door close against it.
• The bathroom has a nice nightlight, especially if you keep the door ajar.
Even though the Liberty was also there, we saw plenty of empty chairs in Chill Island. It was windy. Don't count on using the trams to get around. They were always full and not that often.
Our dock was in the cargo terminal section of the island. Other cruise ships were visible on the horizon at the main dock. There is a small area just outside the gate with shops and things. I doubt you can walk to downtown.
