We initially selected this cruise back in 2019, based on the itinerary especially calling into St Petersburg for 2 nights, but of course this was cancelled.

The ports were varied from great ( Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki,Talinn) to average(Riga, Gdansk, due to the excursion, an hour on the bus and very limiting time and a lot of guide talk) to not so good at all- Aarhus and Kotka. Visby was cancelled due to bad weather. The last day before docking in Amsterdam was in the North sea and it was truely awful. Impossible to move it was so incredibly rough. 24 hours non stop. We had a good cabin in the mid ship, it made no difference.

The arrival port in Amsterdam was an hour away and costly to book a private taxi but half the cost of Oceania’s options.

Cabin Review

Penthouse Suite

Spacious, comfortable. The extra we paid for PH1, being mid ship, not worth it. The seas were calm mainly but the North Sea, it wouldnt matter where your cabin was……..

Bathroom was lovely, excellent shower and bath, great linen, beautiful amenities.

Lots of hanging and drawer space.
