We choose this trip specifically because it was visiting Curacao, which I had never visited. Additional stops were made in
Aruba and the private island. Our favorite activities on the ship are the casino and spa so a larger ship best met our needs.
Embarkation: We travel to Fort Lauderdale the day prior to the cruise and stay a hotels close to Port Everglades. You receive a designated embarkation time when you preregister. A short Uber ride away is the rather expedited onboarding action. You no longer stop at the registration desk, and only show your passport and take a facial recognition photo. Then it's a quick onboard through the carry on scanner, your keys await you in your stateroom.
Cabin 10028, is listed a a spa verandah stateroom. We chose this option due to the proximity to the spa services. The rooms on this floor have two unique advantages. First, a private stairwell to the spa and gym. Second, a private exit/entrance to the spa level of the pool area. This also, has access to a walking track and the New York
Deli which is a hidden gem.
