We wanted to go to the panama canal and we chose Viking because of the size of the ship (930 passengers) and no children.

After a rocky start with a name screwup we were able to correct the problem on board the ship.

i had a heel problem and every day 2x a day our room stewards brought ice paks for me. The food onboard was magnificent with everything labeled what it was and if it had meat in it ( i’m a vegetarian). the staff was very friendly and had no problem in making substitutions.
