We chose this cruise because we were looking for a longer than 7 day cruise before the holidays. We had been on the Getaway 2 other times and were looking forward to this one. The ship was in good shape and the crew were friendly and helpful. Our room steward was the first we have had that never bothered to introduce herself. The room was fine, but the bed had seen better days with depressions on both sides and a Zipper down the middle--not kidding. Have never seen that in 22 cruises. Two great shows for entertainment, Million Dollar Quartet and Burn the floor. The other entertainment was Ho Hum. We had sailed on the Getaway in February and the Food was terrific. Can't say the same for this cruise. The main restaurants were OK, but just OK. The specialty restaurant had definitely dropped and the quality of the beef as well as the portion size has diminished. I have never, in 22 cruises on NCL had reason to give a bad review, but this one called for one. In the past, the officers were very visible around the ship, but here we never saw the Captain. I wish now we had gone to the Latitudes party so I could have met one of the higher officers to let them know our feelings. We have another cruise booked on the Bliss in February and are hoping it is an improvement.
Cabin was OK, but the bed needs to be replaced. Otherwise OK.
