Sail Date: Nov 2022

This was our first transatlantic trip. We have sailed on Norwegian before and really had no issues. I can't say enough about the staff they were great, friendly and accommodating. My husband uses a walker, and they attended to his needs at all times. Love the performances and shows, except the one duo, who had no personality at all on stage, they looked bored. The Entertainment Team did an excellent job with all their events and shows. The chefs did an outstanding job with all the food, I can't even image how to cook for that many people. We ate in the dining room most nights, our dinners were excellent, the Garden Cafe was great, my only suggestion would be that they feature a dish or two from the port that we stopped at, that would have been nice. The captain did a marvelous job in making sure we were kept safe with the rough seas and winds. I never felt in danger at all.

This time we had several issues. We never saw our stateroom person except for the first day when she stopped by to say hello. In previous cruises, we always saw them, and they asked if we needed anything. She short sheeted the bed every day and finally I called her and told her not to do that to make sure the top sheet was tucked under the mattress. I never encountered that.

Since we have never been to Europe, we didn't know about Euros or American money. Our first stop was Italy and they took American money. Our next stop was France, and we couldn't even hop on the city bus to get to our tour bus because they only took Euros and no credit cards. Thankfully, a gentleman from our cruise loaned us $20 Euros so we can go ahead with our plans. I feel a comment or two in the Freestyle newsletter would have helped us out. There were several other people with the same issue.

Cabin Review

We never saw our stateroom person except for the first day so she could introduce herself to us. Room was always clean, however she short sheeted the bed and I had to bring it to her attention.
