Have never been to Brazil and was excited about the experience with the new expedition ships the Viking has developed. As expected Viking is a first class way to travel on any of their fleet of ships. Enjoyed meeting the expedition staff and the incredible informative including seeing/learning about microplastics, seeing the Hangar and Science Laboratory and the (BRUVS) Baited Remote Underwater Video Systems and the release of a weather balloon. For the days at sea there were total awesome knowledgeable speakers and activities including a variety of topics such as several bird lecture, wildlife watching from the outer deck, hands on knot workshops, documentaries, exploration of the South Pole and animals found in the Amazon. Food over the top I think we all gained at least 5 pounds. ALL the staff were friendly and professional, our room stewards greeted us by name every time we met. Excursions in each port included in cost - your trip is inclusive of may items that other cruise shops charge cafeteria style for everything.

Only disappointment was the our family was looking forward exploring in a submarine ride and trip on a SOB, these were not allowed in the Brazilian waters. Because this was not allowed Viking did provide a voucher for a future booking, Would recommend a Viking trip

Cabin Review

Nordic Balcony

Love the heated bathroom floor, the full window in each room and the "drying" closet. There was plenty of storage space, good use of every nook and cranny.
