Overall we had a great time! The service was exceptional, the food was the best we have had on cruise in a long time, and the bartenders were awesome. Elements is a must-see show. It was amazing and very engaging. Due to rough seas, they were not able to perform Footloose, which was a disappointment, but totally out of NCL's control. The comedy shows were entertaining and the Beatles Revolution band was very, very good.

The ship overall was beautiful and very well maintained. We sailed at about 85% capacity and the ship did not feel crowded in the least. We never really encountered crowds, even on sea days. This was the largest ship I have ever been on, so that was a pleasant surprise.

Specialty dining was outstanding. We ended up eating at Tappanyaki and Cagney's. Tappanyaki was a blast! The food of course was great, but the entertainment was the highlight! Very fun, albeit a bit loud with multiple "shows" going on at the same time. Cagney's was out of this world. Of course the main entrees were great, cooked perfectly and tender as all get out, but I have to say, the Au Gratin potatoes were the best I have ever had by a longshot! Simply incredible! The creamed spinach was great as well. Tip: be judicious in your use of free specialty credits. We only had one meal, so we chose to use the "free" meal at Cagney's since it was the more expensive option. We saved about $30 or so by doing so, even though they wanted us to use the free meal at Tappanyaki since we did that one first. Plan and you can save a few bucks.

Cabin Review

Mid-ship Balcony Stateroom

Our cabin was nice, other than the fact that there were no outlets by the bed so I had to get an extension cord from guest services for my CPAP to run from the desk to the little table beside the bed. This is not the case in all rooms, but for ours it was, so just be prepared. The balcony was nice and the door was solid with a nice tight seal. Temp was perfect and easily adjustable. Room Steward did a great job, though she wasn't as personable as some others we've had in the past, but she did handle our couple of requests quickly and accurately and kept our room immaculate.
