We have enjoyed a Viking River Cruise in the past, but it's hard to find a river from Barcelona to Italy. There were many similarities with the river cruise, including great food and a staff that lives to please.
The Chef's Table originally felt like an iffy choice for us, but we enjoyed both nights we dined there. Reindeer Consume was not our usual fare, but the adventure was a pleasant one.
Manfredi's was fabulous, and would no doubt be an extra charge on any other cruise line. The Rib Eye was the best I've had.
Cabin Review
More than adequate for the time we spent there. Comfortable sized bathroom with those lovely heated floors. The cabin steward and his assistant were great. Almost constant cleaning (no doubt since Covid) and most pleasant gentlemen. My wife's sneaker sole separated from the shoe and the steward glued it for her. On any other cruise line that might be amazing, but we have come to expect it from Viking.
