We chose Viking based on ship size and destination. The Viking Star was beautifully appointed and the cruise staff extremely helpful and professional. We enjoyed every moment on board - every communal deck offered wonderful views, which we took full advantage of. It was nice to have the ability to go to a quiet place and read a book or enjoy coffee and pastries or be amongst a group of people to visit with. We took advantage of the spa, which offered so many different services/facilities in addition to being clean and relaxing. The food was excellent - so many wonderful choices! There were also plenty of activities to participate in. We enjoyed the variety of talks that revolved around our stops that gave us a preview of the destinations. The cabins were very comfortable and it was nice that every cabin has a veranda, we enjoyed many sunrises outside watching the ocean. We definitely had an A+ experience and felt very spoiled by the ship, it’s amenities and fabulous staff.

Cabin Review

Very comfortable and clean - we loved the veranda.
