We’ve been on all of the Disney ships and we were looking to see how the Wish compared to the others. Bottom line, we will not plan to sail on the Wish again. We prefer the retro classic decor of the first four ships over this one. The layout is also confusing and we don’t particularly like having to take three different elevators to get to deck 13. This is one for you to experience if you sail. It’s not that we had a bad time but we are comparing our experience with the other ships. The restaurants seemed more crowded and crammed with tables. Our table of four was so close to other tables ( 4 inches ) that it appeared to be a table for 16, just lined up and so close that the waiters could not go down the rows at the same time. That is when our waiter knocked over my wine. The wait staff seems very overwhelmed with too many tables. One night we left after 30 minutes to get our own drinks and brought them back. I honestly don’t remember anything like this on the other ships. I think this ship has turned the corner and now cutting corners to the detriment of the high quality service you pay for. The shows too, mostly video backgrounds instead of real backdrops the other ships have. Anyway, I’ll go on the other classy beautiful ships we are familiar with that have the Walt Disney theatre and separate adult area ( this one doesn’t ) where kids seemed to be in the adult venues all hours. This is just my review and I’m not comfortable on this ship. The Disney wonder is where I’ll be nest trip !
